Wow, it's hard to believe that it has been over two months since I last posted here. Where did the time go? So we have started a new year but it seems not much has changed. In my humble opinion, the world is getting more unstable each and every day. From the rumbling and sabre rattling from a diminutive dictator in eastern Asia to the insane rants and half-truth tweets of the Oompa Loompa in Chief, we are headed to down a path none of us want to travel. We have to stop the madness but how do we do it? How do we get everyone to stop the hatred? Stop the violence on women? Time's Up? Great idea and I fully support it. After all, I am a survivor as well so I can say "Me Too!" but it is going to take more than a great media blitz or PR campaign. It takes all of us demanding that the courts make a statement. That the people that have gotten away with this abuse of power be held accountable. That means EVERYONE! Even you Cheeto Head! It's time to rise up and free yourself people! Don't be the blind sheep led to the slaughter by the corrupt "shepherds" currently roaming the marble halls of Capitol Hill. Stand up and be the wolf! Let them know that we are no longer going to stand for the status quo but that it's time for a new paradigm. A new "breed" where men aren't ruled by the corporations that have bought the politicians, but by the people as the founding fathers originally intended. We are less than a week away from the Superbowl where a 30-second ad will cost you five million dollars. You can buy a junior congressman for far less! And they are bought and sold! By companies and PACTs and special interests groups! When asked why he voted against a bill that most of constituents seemed to support, one Senator stated, "I voted how I felt they (the voters) should have felt about this. Now how they do feel about. Eventually the voters will see I am right." Wait, what? So your voters wanted one thing but you wanted something else so you went against what your people wanted? How is that representing your people? And that is indicative of our government on just about every level today! I think someone recently referred to some lesser developed countries as shitholes. Well, the only shithole I can think of at the moment is more oval shaped (think about it)!!!
Well, I'm sorry I rambled and ranted but I needed to get that off my chest. I promise I won't wait nearly as long for the next post. I don't know what it will be about but it will be soon. Until then, I need six Jammy Dodgers and a fez!
